Best Edition Winded: A Memoir in Four Stages with FREE MOBI EDITION!

Early in the book the author was diagnosed and found to have a gene mutation (EGFR) that enabled immunotherapy (a pill, brand name Keytruda) treatment that put/kept her in temporary remission (old stats quote five year duration). That was not unusual but still interesting as I too have been diagnosed with a terminal cancer. However, the bulk of the book is every niggling detail from every member of her family including her dog that gave her pause. It was a recap into the minutia of dinners out, trips taken, the songs sung with family right down to notes, keys, and even a few sentences about the old chalkboard staff liner music teachers of old used. Good grief how would anyone, especially a wannabe writer, think that those details would be of any interest whatsoever to the common reader.I feel sorry for the author to have the dreaded cancer on top of whatever her psychologist labels her mental issues, but this book was a complete waste of my time and money and another irritation for those of us looking for quality reading material. I didn't realize who "published" her book. There's no doubt that calling yourself a published author isn't what it used to be.
